Banswara
Arthuna and its surrounding areas have ruins of Hindu and Jain temples dating back to the 11th, 12th and 15th centuries. The dilapidated ruins have a beautifully carved combined idol of Shiva, Parvati and Ganesha. There is a Shaivite temple called Neelkanth Mahadev Mandir at Lankiya village near Arthuna. This temple is an old stone temple with beautiful intricate carvings and carved figures of women on its outer walls. The entrance to the temple is guarded by Nandi bull.
